Integrated Community Services changed my life when I became a client.

As a client at ICS, you can receive job training and learn independent skills at home. You can learn how to handle money and other activities, like learning how to drive. ICS helped me get my license.

Now I help my mom with cooking, cleaning, money and social security benefits, and that makes me happy. Now, without a reminder, I am doing those on my own.

And that was only the beginning of my independence. Through ICS’ job services I have worked at Silk Road Teas, Republic Indemnity and Margot’s Morsels. I have worked with job coaches who trained me during the early days of my jobs, and I found it helpful. Then the training could fade away once I learned the job.

I am one step closer to independence, and I am growing up. ICS, thank you so much for the opportunities that made me become an independent person.
