Hi Friends,
Integrated Community Services (ICS) is entering an exciting new chapter! After 14 incredible years at the Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, GEM—our garden job-training program for people with disabilities—has moved to Homeward Bound of Marin's Novato campus, where GEM participants develop job skills while giving back to an organization committed to ending homelessness.
At this spacious, accessible garden nestled in a vibrant community, GEM participants are not only building skills for budding careers, they are also contributing to a more inclusive Marin.
The fresh produce they grow is donated to Homeward Bound's culinary program, and they witness firsthand how their harvest becomes nutritious meals that feed the community. Participants alsodevelop business skills by supplying herbs and flowers to Botnia, a local organic skincare company. We’re so grateful for our growing partnership with Homeward Bound!
Your donations make GEM possible! You can create new jobs and a stronger community through your support.
From our staff and clients, thank you for your continued support and happy holidays. Together we are cultivating change!
