This past year, the GEM team has loved growing flowers and herbs for Marin-based skincare company, Botnia. Learning about skincare products inspired GEM'mers to make their very own moisturizing skin and lip salves, and our early trials have been a huge success!

Making salves teaches career skills such as planning, teamwork, communication and patience, and our community (which has given rave reviews of the salves!) has an opportunity to connect with the work we do. It's a win-win!

We want to expand our current operations and begin selling our salves in Marin, creating a business venture that prepares people with disabilities for bright careers while funding services for future GEM'mers.
