Jump-start our clients’ careers and enjoy a monthly box of fresh produce from May to October 2020 with our GEM CSA Program!


GEM has operated a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program since 2017. CSA membership entitles you to a monthly box filled with freshly-harvested, safely-handled, organically-grown, seasonal produce, fresh flowers and hand-dried teas. Our 2020 CSA season is May - October.

Because of the CSA, GEM can teach our clients even more job and customer relations skills, like writing professional emails, practicing food safety guidelines and creating content for our newsletters and social media. All proceeds go back into our program and also allow us to make weekly produce donations to people experiencing homelessness in Marin County.


Follow these quick steps to buy a CSA subscription!

Step 1: Decide what type of box you need.  A half-share is ideal for a two-person household; a full-share feeds a four-person household.

Step 1.5: You can also Share Some Love by donating a CSA season membership to an ICS client in need.

Step 2: Buy a CSA subscription and choose pick-up or delivery.

Step 3: You’ll receive an email two days before your box is ready for pick up or delivery.
